tank not level

I live in a 200 year old house (no exageration) and after filling my tank i noticed that the right side is 1 millimeter higher than the left. Is this enough for concern?

1mm isn't a problem. However, if your a sticker like me, you can remedy this by buying wood shims from a local hardware store. Tap in the shims with a hammer while using a level. Using a dremel or a flat head screwdriver, remove the remaining wood.

id leave it alone man, i live in a 200 year old house as well and mine was almost half an inch to 3/4 of an inch off and one side was almost spilling out and the other was below the brace, I used shims all along the one side and fixed it, it is still a little off but its very close to being level. I would say shims are your answer if you are worried but 1mm is nothing i would jsut leave it and count your blessings that it isnt WAY worse then that. I contimplated taking teh whole thing down untill i had a long conversation with a carpenter and listened to everyone on here and just used shims. Id leave it alone man.

yea you can, i shimmed mine almost half an inch while it was full and running...be careful shim the entire side and some in the front and back if the gap is big....you need to keep the structure of the stand almost all around so you dont put undue stress on the rest of the stand. Honestly if its not more then a few millimeters DONT DO IT....you really dont have to and its not worth the hastle.....if its way off do it and if its below the brace line do it if its just a few milimeters off dont bother with it
