R.I.P. Dr. Suess
My favorite fish was found this morning, dead under the rocks. We had him over 3 years so I don't know if this was old age or what. Everything and all the other fish are fine, but of course I will run tests to be sure. He will be missed. R.I.P. my little friend.

I had a lawnmower blennie that was 7 inches long that I inherited from a fellow reefer. He was like 8 years old when I got him. I think he finally passed on from old age. I am sorry for your loss as well. i know it may sound funny but it took me 3 months before I bought another lawnmower cause I was so bummed my big guy died

That's how I feel..this guy was huge too. My friend offered me hers, because she is breaking down a small tank with one..but for right now I could'nt have another. There are a few favorites that I have to see every day to know all is well in my tanks. He had so much personality. I'm glad I have a place like this I can share my feelings. When you tell someone who does'nt keep sw fish this, they look at you like..."yeah,sure,ok... "
Thanks for the kind words. |

I'm sorry for your loss. I have a favorite fish too, and don't even want to think of the day he is no longer with us. He is my hippo tang-6 years old. Geez, I even felt bad when my evil clown fish got sucked up in a powerhead that the guard fell off of. It's really tough to lose a favored one though.
