Urchins spawning

Two of my black urchins were situated about 5 inches apart and one started releasing milky white fluid...the other urchin looked like it was releasing stringy looking stuff. I assume they are spawning but I was wondering if anyone knew if when the females release eggs what they look like. Do I have two males??

The milky fluid sounds like a male. I though the female would be releasing larger eggs, not stringy material, but I might be wrong.
