Lagoon tank
Currently I have 150 gallon fresh tank that will be converted to lagoon tank with Macroalgae, featherduster, gorgonians, sponges and some fish. Has tahaitian moon black substrate. I was going to do a 50 percent water change than add appropriate salt to get specific gravity to 1.024. I would use light skimming to keep nutrients for sponges and worms, algae and gorgoniians some of which would be non-photosynthetic. I would keep the black substrate for nice contrasting colors. Input or Ideas. Thank You.

I like lagoon tank
![]() I'm not sure if you should keep 50% of you fresh water (FW). Is it RO/DI water or tap water? If it's tap water I would start from scratch with RO/DI. I'm not very experienced but I would take all the sand out and rinse it before reusing it. This way you could clean the tank as well. Let's see what experienced people have to say about it.
