Exclamation open brain is bleaching.. help

everything in my tank is FINE... my frogspawn's mytrumpet. my ricordia. my montipora. my hyrdophora (spelling.. its an sps)

everything is fine

EXCEPT my green open brain
the past few weeks he had brown spots. ( his coloration changed) then today the spots that were brown are whiteish clear...

wth happend.. i moved him up in the rocks a bit ( was on sand bed) hoping it would help but.. i dunno.
any ideas? looks like bleaching to me but why. and why did he turn brown first he is still mostly neon green btw. this is just maybe 1/4 of him total that is white/clear

also my clown host this .. could that tbe the reason?

How much light do you have on your tank? Open brains should be kept on the sandbed not up on the rocks. I would put it back on the sand and maybe move it to slightly shaded spot.

How is your temp? The reason i am asking is that our open brain was good for about a month and then it started to bleach out, it lost all of its red color. My temp was pushing 86 degrees with the lights on and i belive that the temp was slowly bleaching out the corals, it is now starting to color back up.

Also do you target feed your corals? You may want to try feeding it. I feed ours homemade food with a turkey baster and it also eats Prime Reef pellets.

It may also just be going through an adjustment period.

i feed it whole silversides. i dont think the lps benifit much from anything that is smaller.. like microvert style foods or anything. ( or tiny bits of shrimp blablabla... ) it never seems to actualy eat that... none of them seem to. but a silverside or a whole shrimp.. they grab right on

anyways.

temp... not to sure about.. my heater ( digital display ) says it is 84. but it definitly dosnt feel that warm
