Crushed Coral
I'm thinking about dumping in an entire 40-lb bag of crushed coral to increase the depth of my sand bed in my 120 gallon. Is this safe? I'll probably mix it up a bit once its all in there. Currently there is Arag-Alive sand mixed with some play sand.

It won't mix Even if you mix it yourself, it will all come up to the surface on its own.

It can be a mess. It will end up on top of the sand in time. Its also not the best thing because it will tend to trap particles and such.
