Need help with super skimmer
I'm setting up my first salt water tank. It's a 30 gallon tank, and I have a Coralife 65g super skimmer on it (HOB setup).
My problem is, the skimmer completely fills the tank with micro bubbles. I've changed the height on the bubble diffuser box, and tried adding more foam/less foam etc, and nothing seems to help. Anyone have any suggestions? |

i have the same problem and am not sure what to do. My tank is full of mirco bubbles.
I came home and my tangs were covered in bubbles (i thought it was a massive ich outbreak and freaked out!) so i turned off the skimmer for the night and the bubbles went away. now im just messing around with the hight of the output and looking on here for suggestions.... mine is also running hob and is a new skimmer. It is collecting some nice brown skimmate though |

Try uppering the height of the bubbles but lowering the flow going into the skimmer with the valve that comes with the skimmer.
