Starboard question

Wheres the best place to get starboard? Is there another industrial name for it? I've heard it called polypro on this board.

Also, I know I would need to place it in my tank in sections, so does anybody fill in the gaps between the pieces? If so, with what? I can't imagine that looking too attractive with the gaps in all.

Thanks,

Jim

I've seen people make reference to this website.

http://www.cuttingboardcompany.com/

I am also curious about the gaps as well.

Good luck.

Before reading this post I didn't know what it was, but now I want to know as well. I wonder if people cut the boards themselves usually or order more the one piece at the right size.

Thats exactly what I want to find out too. I was hoping some experienced BB folks could help us out

I've never run a BB tank, and I have actually only seen 1 run locally, and he didn't use starboard.

Anyone?????

BTW, thanks for the link waxxiemann

i believe they use silicone to fill the gaps, i know some cut theres length wise to hide seems in the middle. i think some used epoxy for the faux sandbed look.
