Calcium @ 631 Should I Worry
I got a new foster&smith calcium monitor my other went bad andyway it ready 631 my alk=12.9 should I be worried how & what is the best way to lower this? water changes??

I wouldn't worry about it. Just keep on monitoring your alkalinity, since it will likely drop quicker than usual. How you deal with it depends on what you have in your tank. If you have hard corals and clams I would just leave it. If not, you may want to do a water change. Its not really a big deal, its not harmful but it may precipitate and damage your plumbing.
If you do a water change, make sure to use one with a low calcium level like IO, and not something like Oceanic that is high in Ca. |

ok cool...I done a water change last week with seachem salt? and then added some calcium to it!
