leather with leprosi!!!!

my leather started developing sores. 2 or 3 dime size sores that turned a dark brown color. i can not post a pic at this time but any input would help.

How is your water quality? Also, try increasing current targeted at the leather or just in the vicinity of the leather to help it dislodge the necrotic tissue.

Mine did the same thing when I moved it lower in the tank. After I moved it back up it made a fast recovery.

I also had a leather do that. Why? I have no idea, but he recovered in a week or so and has been great ever since.

THANKS guys the necrosis is gone and the polyps are extending.

so if the polyps are extending then its in good health? I.E. cabbage leather. I think it looks sick but the polyps are always out.
