Sump Questions

Well I just about have everything all ready for my sump.

I have a CPR CS-90 Overflow, with an airlifter pump in the mail. Its a HOB overflow rated at 600GPH. I think the bulkhead was enlarged to 1 1/4 because thats what fitting it has on it. (If im not mistaked the come with 1")

For my return pump I have a Pan World 40PX. External pump rated at 480GPH. My question is this.

Is this pump going to be able to cut it? Or should I get somthing a little more powerful? Maybe closer to 600PGH? I know im not going to floodm but Is that going to be able to run everything smoothly, and fill up my 20g sump?

Thanks,

Andy

If you want more flow then go for it but if you are thinking 400g hr. is going to be enough then just keep it the overflow will only drain as much as your pump pushes.
