2x 150 mhs ok for 5 ft?

id really like to run 3 150s, but i think bulb changes are goin to kill me. id also like to save as much elec as i can, switching from 6x 54 t5s.

do you think 2x 150s would be ok? its for a 60x18x20h tank.

it would mainly be an lps, zoos and ricordia, with a few sps high up.

i have a hood that i built to hold t5s, so i wanted to just cut a hole at the top, and have a nice reflector box sticking out. but i cant just switch to 3 because id need to hack up my canopy more. so i need your guys opinions on what to do.

anyhow thanks in advance,

Jaymie

i run 2 175 mh on a 100g with another 210w of pc atinic

kind of wish i had 250 mh

150 will work for most lps and you may get a few sps rite under the light bulbs high in the tank. if you get good growth out of your sps youll change em out for stronger lights.

How deep is the tank? I would think about 250 watt bulbs if your tank is 24" or deeper.
