AC jr wireless to my PC?
Is there a way to hook a ACJr with serial port to a wireless network so I can use it with my computer?
I have an xtra access point laying around... Thanks einsteins |

No... not really. No ethernet port (kinda hard to run a full webserver on an ATMega64 anyway ). At least not until Wireless USB products start hitting the shelves, then you could use a Serial to USB converter over that.

theatrus, Wireless USB products have been around for at least 2 years now but still would not work with the AC Jr.

Serial to wireless not cheap 150 bucks. Pays to know people in the manufacturing business. Most of our manufacturing line controllers still use serial input and output but we download across the network

Oh and most of this units come with a driver so it just looks like another Serial port on your PC to applications. If the AC Jr. has its own application this would allow you to access it like you were attached to the unit with a cable.
