pinpoint calcium monitor
Why is it called a monitor if it is only supposed to be used for testing and not constant monitoring like there other monitors. Per the manufacture?

not sure. Randy Holmes- Farley of the "reef chemistry forum" has written an article on the accuracy and use of calcium monitors. pretty much says they're useless for the same reason you mentioned. might wanna read on it, my brain is sometimes rented/blonde or something. i dont remember the name of that article, sorry. hope this gives some insight. have a great day, and REEF-ON!
