MH mogulbased sockets
Just bought a 175 watt MH retrofit fixture which came with a 4000k bulb. I replaced it with a 14000k bulb. I noticed the mogul socket that came with the kit says 4k on it. Does this mean I have to buy a new mogul socket for a 14000k bulb? If so, does anyone know where can I get one cheap?

I would think that you will be fine, a socket just holds the bulbs.
