10 years under my care and counting... I've seen some Naso's live less than 2 weeks in 200 gallon plus setup.

I like your tank alot, I think it looks great.
The frags on the walls are super cool. I was thinking about trying to get some anthelia to attach to my back glass and then eventually cover it as a backdrop...

I took that today around 2 pm... Of course it is raining and overcast today.. It is supposed to be clear and sunny tomorrow. I will take a movie and post it with the sun cranking.. The shimmer is equal or better than halides with the tubes...

Thanks I have had some major hickups over the past year with my reef. Multiple kalk snow storms, power outages, etc... I think things are "Gettin in Tune" now...

The fragmags make the back of the tank look like a little in-tank climbing wall

I hope in six months you won't be able to see the wall, just polyps

Wow. Those Solatubes are incredible - just checked out their website.
What a great idea using those over your tank. That makes sense in so many respects. Awesome setup.

Here are a couple other movies I took today during some decent sunlight.. You'll notice the colors get a tad bit washed out with the natural light, but I think it keeps my SPS happy

Reef Pic #2

And here is a movie looking up the tubes at the sky

Let the Sunshine..

Later,

Jim

i like it. that really is interesting how it looks up the tubes, just a big tunnel of light. I know you posted this on the other thread but how long are they?

Roughly 16 ft from the roof top to the tank... I keep the ends about 12" off the water...
