White Sebae anemone

Hey guys me and a guy who work together at a LFS are haveing a discussion about white sebae anemones. his stance is that they are unhealthy i personally babysitted one for a good friend of mine for almost 4 months healthy when i got it healthy when it left my care. white the whole time. am i imagineing that this thing was healthy for that long or is there such thing as a healthy white sebae??? what i would love is a picture of one that someone has had for more then 9 months. thanks for all the input guys.

Well, while most will consider a brown 'sebae' healthier than a white one, white ones can still look and do well. Technically, if all their needs are met otherwise, a white one could live and even thrive indefinitely. It is just that a brown one (or one that eventually recovers its zooxanthellae) has a much better chance of surviving and doing well in the long run. It would be best for the anemone if it had its symbiotic dinoflagellates.
