Cleaning Question
When cleaning out your collection cup, do you shut off your main pump feeding the water into the skimmer? I have the RC-500 and it has a large collection cup. I have been turning off my pump to remove and clean out the large cup. But always have to fiddle with the gate valve when I turn the pump back on. I was just wondering if it is okay to just leave the pump on and let the water gush out over the body of the skimmer?
TIA.

So, everyone leaves their Euroreef skimmer running when they remove the collection cup, right?
