Mag 7
I just hooked up my mag 7 and it so so noisy..Does it have to beakin in or what..or is there anything i can do to quite it down...also the pump is in the water..

it should be quite you might want to pull it out and take it apart to see if something is rubbing in it

For some reason, the Mag7s are horribly noisy. There are plenty of posts with this same complaint. I had the same issue with mine. I tried a lot of tricks and nothing worked. I replaced it with an Eheim 1260. NIGHT AND DAY difference (is it on?). A ton more flow too.

the eheim 1260 how much flow the mag 7 was alot of flow alomost to much its for my return pump for my 60 gallon but i have it branching of to a refug...i mihgt have to get the eheim where did u get it from and how much?

If the Mag7 is too strong, you wouldn't like the 1260. Go with a 1250 instead.
