Talking My New Leather Coral. What do I need to know? (Pics)

I have him about half way up on a ledge. Good direct light. Moderate flow. And I'll be adding phytoplankton (I think that's the name, I'm at work so I don't have the bottle in front of me) every other day or every 3 days. Anything else I should know? This is my first coral.

He started 'opening up' after an hour or so..

Macro shot..

He's a toadstool of sorts, I think, and should be downwind of any lps corals you have. They seem to tolerate a lot of conditions. Keep alkalinity in a good range: 8.3-9.3 and watch your ph. Otherwise it will probably grow like Topsy.

He looks mighty good to me, but beware they have a habit of closing up for days at a time. Very Moody creatures IME.

Do you feed the liquid directly into the water stream around your leather? Or do you just put it into the tank? Also, should I leave the skimmer on during feeding time?
