MRC 8448 has arrived and and the DIY inside of me wants to push it

My monster has just arrive and its limits are a Sequ,5000 now in the past i've had this type befor and pushed it way beyond its limits what kind of mods, can i do to it and how big of a pump can run it.. My last skimmer like this was rated for a iwk,55 but drilled a 3/4in hole next to the gate and plumbed it free flow and put a iwk,100 on it with great resaults. I'm woundering if the same can be done with this and a aqua sea 6300 pushing it

Reefing is'nt how long you been in it. It is how deep you get in it.

Current Tank Info: 400g display build, 300g sump, 75g ATO, 75g refug and a few more. Close to a 1000g. 200g mixing station.
