Guys,
If any of you have an artica chiller and had to go out and find a fuse replacement, you know how difficult it is to find a compatible one. JBJlighting has enhanced the current models so that a more common fuse can be found. Below are the details and how you can obtain a replacement part. Their website provides a manual which guides you step by step on how to replace hte switch assembly. Gabe Hello Gabriel, Yes, the 2006 Arctica chillers have a redesigned power cord & fuse assembly. Does this prevent frequent fuse blowout? No. Does it replace the fuse with a more common one? Yes. This is the main reason for the redesign. What other benefits is there? The new design fuse holder is much more simple to replace a fuse. No tools required. Does this come free of charge for current owners? Unfortunately no. If not how would I obtain one and how much would it cost? The part # is DB-PC. It cost $35, not including shipping.
