T5 reflector question
I know a few companies make t5 reflectors which are good reflectors? Is an icecap worth the few extra $ compared to the aualux reflector? Any info would be appreciated. I have read some of the t5 threads but some are getting to long to read back through

well, to clear this up, the aqualux sold CDR (ATI) isnt sold anynore. aqualux quit the business, and they sold the old style of ATI reflectors.
and the icecaps are not really any better than the aqualux CDR's they were virtually identical performance wise, but the differences were that the aqualux CDR's were wider (just over 3") and the aqualux sold CDR was a lot cheaper. now comparing the aqualux and the IC to the tek, well, the tek is more money than the aqualux, a tad less $ than the IC, and 20% lower PAR numbers than the IC or aqualux reflector. not to mention the teks stain easily from salt spray, something the aqualux and IC dont have an issue with. the other issue was that IC still will not really make a reflector to fit the 5 foot t5ho bulbs, and aqualux did. and it was a lot cheaper again than the IC. now, tek is the only 5 foot reflector that is off the shelf. IC will send you two 3 footers for the price of what a 5 footer should run if you ask them directly. I just had to clear this up. now the new ATI reflectors are soon to hit market, and i guarantee they will be the best since they have more experience with t5ho than anyone...

not yet.
apparently they were at MACNA, so, once everyone updates websites and sets pricing we should see them soon.

i am sure they will be at least as good as the IC, maybe better.. the old ati reflectors cost less and performed the same as the IC.

I hope the new ATIs are 2.5" wide, not 3" like the old ones.
Speaking of T5 reflectors, did anyone see this?? Has IceCap "Knocked Off" SLS's T5HO reflectors?
