Alk?

what dkh is best, and what is the best for Ca?

I'm looking at 410ppm for Ca and 7dkh for Alk.

Believe it or not, you're balanced, even if the Alk is very slightly low (NSW is around 8dKH). 8-11dKH Alk and 420ppm-460ppm Ca are common areas to be at with stony corals

Being balanced really does not mean squat. Randy can explain it better than I.

The chemistry forum is a good place to spend some time regarding alk and calcium. The 3 things that really need monitoring, once you get some corals or coralline algae, is calcium, alklinity and magnesium. Here is link on correct water parameters.
