will this closed loop work

setting up a closed loop on a 540 with a center overflow island viewable from all 4 sides. Was thinking of putting 2, two inch overflows running to a sump, then having 4,one inch returns all inside the box. for the closed loop part, I was wondering if I could also place 2, two inch holes also in the box then run these into a sequence 4300 or 5800 pump with an om4 or om8 then have them return into the tank thru (4 to 8) one inch holes thru the bottom of the glass in different locations with pvc extensions. will this work??????

You would need to get the tank custom drilled (and barebottom ) to get the CL returns though the bottom. I'm not sure I would put that money holes in a single pane of glass.
