glue for attaching frags to rock?

I wish to attach some frags to my live rock, but do not know what is safe for the tank. I'm afraid if I use super glue or something it would be toxic to the tank's inhabitants.

SuperGlue Gel is safe and easy to use. I also use epoxy stick designed for underwater applications. The epoxy has good strength and forms to live rock well but has little bonding strength. The Gel has good bonding strength but cannot be used to build up a mass to stick in to live rock. Sometimes I use both, the epoxy to form a stable platform and the Super Glue to attach the frag to the platform. One note of caution, I always clean out my skimmer before using epoxy because sometimes it makes it go crazy and overflow.

You can use any cyanoacrylate based glue. Super Glue and many other "super glues" are normally cyanoacrylate base. The reason why people use Gel forms of the glue is so it doesn't run everywhere and get on your fingers.

Concerning epoxy, you have to be careful what epoxy putty you use. Most from hardware stores are not safe to use in our reefs. There is one that you can find at Home Depot stores near the paint section. It's called AquaMend. If you can't find AquaMend, I suggest getting your epoxy from a LFS to make sure that it is safe to use. There is no sense in risking your entire tank because of epoxy choice.
