IS RO/DI working right

Just set up new RO/DI unit

water is coming out of waste tube but no where else ( has been running for about a minute

the pressure is at about 1 psi or 10 psi, i can't tell from this meter

i haven't the slightest clue on what is suppose to happen, i have read the instructions over and over but i still feel stupid about this machine, do i need a water pump?

YOur pressure s/b 40-50.

No water pump needed. Where have you attached it?

They are very slow: it may take a few minutes before you see something coming out the outflow, and then only a trickle. BUT your psi is way low. I'm not sure that reading is right. Have you got it on a sink adapter?

You should have about the same pressure as your homes pressure. I would buy a gauge at HD or Lowes and check my home pressure before springing for a booster pump.
