Remora with Maxijet 900
I have an AquaC Remora protein skimmer. I would like to use it in the sump of my 20g nano reef system. Can I run it with a Maxijet 900?

why not use the mj 1200? it will pull out more skimmate

you can run the 900 but why not sell your 900 and get a 1200? List it for sale on the selling forum, someone out there will buy it to mod it, then just search the threads for a used 1200 and Robert's your father's brother.

I think I'll go pick up a 1200. I was just being cheap. I have 4 900's but no 1200's. I tried being cute and broke my 1200 years ago, have not used a skimmer since.

The MJ1200 is 3 times the amount of heat as a MJ900. It could be a problem. R
