Co-exist Tangs?
Can a Chevron & Purple Tangs co-exist in a 125g tang?
They both will be the same size about 3". Thanks |

Yes, they can, but it doesn't work 100% of the time. Add them at the same time if possible.

Trust me my friend, the names are not important at all. I've own hundreds of different zoas and palys and don't know the name of a single one. In my opinion, they are a waste of valuable time. Mucho Reef |

And if you can't add them at the same time, add the chevron first.

I have a purple and Chevron in 125gal. They were housed together for some time prior to my buying them at LFS, so I was able to observe them a few times over a couple months. Both about 4" in length. They get along pretty well. I think part of the upside is that they're different types of feeders (Chevron a bristletooth), might also limit the direct competition. Chevron is most outgoing and active, Purple a little more skittish and yet aggressive.
