Hi, I will try to help but I have a horrible track history with 6-lines, it took 4 attempts before I got a healthy one... it wasnt my fault!

As for your wrasse, I have never seen the red area in a healthy 6-line, but that is a worry-some area for me. From the picture his scales appear to pucker and has white spots so it lookes like he has an internal infection with ick, but are the results of a weakened immune system and stress. The hawk might be a factor adding to it but it isnt the main cause. You might have to worry about the 6-line's illness speading in your tank and hurting the other fish. You need to ask for treatment for an internal infection and there are lots of ick/external illness threads which will help.

If the wrasse is eating well and you feed with high quality meaty foods he might have a chance but when/if he stops eating have the net near by

well the six line didn't make it I found what was left of him in the sand. I wonder what was eating him after he died..may the nassarius snails...anyways tested ammonia and it was still 0 and im mixing up 5 gallons of water right now then I will wait an hour or so and see what all my water parameters are. This is my first fish loss I have had the tank setup since June. Everything else in the tank looks healthy and eating fine.
