spectrapure or buckeye field supply rodi units

I am trying to decide between the 4 stage 75 gall per day or 100 gall per day premium unit from Buckeye or the spectrapure maxcap 90gall per day unit. Can someone tell me the difference between the 2 and which ones they would prefer? I checked the water quality in the area and they do add a lot of chlorine in the water. Thanks!

I have a buckeye field supply 100 gpd, and I live in a city with heavily chlorinated water, I couldn't be happier with it, and their customer service is second to none, I've called at odd hours with questions and always got someone to answer and stay on the phone till my questions were answered.

Thanks for the info! Anyone else? If I went by cost, buckeye is the way to go. I just can't decide.

I don't think you are comparing apples to apples.

The Spectrapure maxcap should blow the socks off any 4 stage system.

I've used Spectrapure for 10+ years (maybe more) and have always been pleased.

You really cant go wrong with either system. The Spectapure is proly the best RO/DI system out there, but you may not need that much performance (how bad is your water?).

I have been using a 4-stage, 75-GPD from Buckeye for a couple of years now and it is works great.

Nothing on the market compares with the MaxCap, its in a class by itself. That being said there is also nothing wrong with the Buckeye system either as long as you realize it will not give you quite as good a water quality nor will it get anywhere near the DI resin life. It comes down to pay me now or pay me later as far as resin replacements.
Here is my MaxCap and I swear by it! I have it hooked up to a 14 gallon pressure tank with a DI faucet, 2 RO faucets and an ice maker kit.
