Lightbulb what is lps and sps

i know they are different coral types. but what do the stand for and what is the difference.

However, the appearence difference between the 2 is huge which is not self explainatory.

Best thing is to go into the LFS and have them point them out! Also, go to the LPS and SPS forums below and look for yourself.

I'm an LPS guy myself...

SPS looks like colored sticks and has minimal movement where as lps has lots of movements and isn't as hard to take care of. I personally love SPS. LPS is kinda boring.

I agree that sps's are cooler but there are nice LPS's my hammerhead is nice my orange plate coral is very cool . He smiles after i feed him.
