Metal Halide (too old ???)

I have had my mh running 6hrs a day for 7months give or take a few weeks and recently i have noticed some brown algae in my tank .. it is an xm 10K .. is it time to get a new bulb ?

Perhaps phosphates??

I think it's fine to rum MH for about 12 months, I dont think your bulbs are causing the algae.
