looks like an isopod, but it's hard to tell from this angle.

that's wierd...

i saw somethign similar once when one of my sisters fish had a infection in its intestines, it got so bad (and we litterally nuked the tank trying to cure it) that the bowel litterally pushed through the skin and under a scale... of course the fish was a gonner at this point.

I don't think this is the same thing, it looks different in a lot of ways, but there is a 'fleshy' appearance to it.

I have a pair of perc's that also host a large torch. They also have what appears to be the same "marks". I believe them to be minor skin wounds caused by darting among the torch heads. Mine always disappear in about two days. They scared the $#%& out of me at first. My perc's are 15 month's old now. Hope that helps.

I hope it just goes away, that's the same clown I posted a while ago that had a wound on it's side and looked raw. It fully recover but this one is kind of worries me.
