skimmer/pump air issue (AquaC EV120)

I have an Aqua C EV120 powered by a mag7. Recently it isn't producing very many bubbles, and if I close the gate valve the water level in the skimmer rises, but there are very few bubbles above the water that rises up.

When things worked well, I could put my finger over the air valve on the skimmer and it would kind of suck my finger. Now that sucking force is not nearly as great.

I cleaned the skimmer, and took the pump apart and reassembled it. Still the same problem.

Does anyone know why this might be happening?

clean the injector.. i bet it has trash in it...

just take hose off, unscrew injector, use toothpick if needed to clean it, put a wrap or 2 of teflon tape on it,screw it back in, hook hose up.

should get ya going.. if not then check where the riser tube meets the body, mine seperated and was sucking air from arounf the tube, also splashed salt creep everywhere.

GLUE

also remove the air valve and be sure it is unobstructed. i would blow it out from the other end just in case something got caught in the air valve.
