Need an I.D. on new coral frag. I think it is some sort of acan or blasto.

Doesn't look like an acan or a blasto, maybe a closed brain? I personally wouldn't be able to pick a genus. Good luck getting it back to health!

Maze brain. It will turn into a dome, either round or oblong, and can extrude sweepers up to half a foot in length, so give it plenty of downwind room. It will like moderate shade, not high light, and does well on the sand.
