X10 is notorious for having problems. I will NEVER have X10 on our tanks again. It can work great for days, months and even a year. Then out of the blue it will start giving problems. Ballasts seem to be the worst offender of creating problems with X10.

Now that I'm off my soap box, let's check a couple of things. Have you change any ballasts or pumps lately? Have you re-routed or moved any power cords or probes recently. If you disconnect the ballast(s) from the X10 module, will the system operate correctly?

I keep all my x10's on the same circuit, with the aquacontroller retransmitting every 5 minutes. Never had any problems.

I'm not saying it isn't possible... Some people are successful, but the reports of problems are long and frequent.

Good luck with that and use caution if you have any critical tank support equipment on X10...
