Skimmer Question

I'm planning an upgrade and I'm shopping for a skimmer. Wanted some recommendations on Good brands I should keep my eye out for. I obviously dont' want this to turn into a heated discussion, but just want some advice from experienced aquarists before I make the mistake of placing a bid on some crap skimmer on ebay.

Im looking for a skimmer for a 75g softie tank, light bioload... but prefer something oversized.

Thanks

Any space limitations? Does it need to fit into tight spaces in a sump or anything else that might limit the options due to dimensions of the skimmer? I run a 75 and I'm looking to try a EuroReef, ASM, Octopus etc. in my sump when I get the money. I'm running an EV-120 from AquaC right now and think it does a decent job. There are hundreds of skimmers you could use, so get ready to hear a whole bunch of recommendations. All I can say is, do lots of reading and research and make sure your decision is ultimately an informed one.

Good luck,
Joe

Space limitations; 32" tall is about the only real limitation, unless it has some footprint that is more than 18"x18". I plan on building a sump around the skimmer I decide on. The more recommendations the better. I am reading like a fiend, and have been looking at the Euroreef too. Seems to be a really popular brand.

There are so many brands if I get 10 recommendations that would still narrow my research ten-fold.

Being n00b, the number of skimmer choices at marinedepot makes me a lil' dizzy.
