wavemaster pro question

I just bought two tunze nanostreams but I'm afraid that I might not be getting enough random motion so I thought about getting a wavemaster pro. Will this device destroy my tunzes?

The nanostream pumps come with DC motors, meaning the motors can handle the on and off sequences. Now the controller you use determines how the electricity reaches the pump motor. With Tunze controllers, the electrical startup is "soft". The RedSea wavemaker just switches the outlets on and off with no "soft start". You can run the nano's with the wavemaster pro, but they won't last as long.
