RE: Phosban Reactors

Can I plumb 2 phosban reactors into each other, 1 with carbon and the other with GFO? Or would that create too much back pressure on the first unit?

Thanks

I beleive A LOT of people do this. I may do it soon. One great thing about it is the carbon and GFO typically need to be changed at different rates. And now you can change your carbon more often without disrupting the gfo. Go for it. Also do not worry about the pressure. Set the ball valve (you only need one now but save the other one), on the incoming line on the first reactor and use that to adjust the rate through both. You should not see and appreciable increase in pressure.
good luck,
FB

i use a manifold to feed two canisters. each has a ball valve, because the media needs different flow rates to turn in their canisters, not sure if you'd be able to do that with them plumbed together.
