Do you have these in your tank? (pic)

I have seen about 5 of these TINY starfish in my tank. I never purchased or have had a starfish. Are they hitchikers? The last time I added new rock to my tank was about 6 months ago. Where did they come from? Will they get bigger?

Thanks in advance for any replies!

Not to worry. They are hitchhikers, will multiply and get not much larger than an inch in diameter.

It's white with black stripes?

New type of mini brittle star to me! I've only seen them all white or black and burgandy. Can you post some more pics?

I've got several that live in my rock. They stick their arms out to catch food when I feed. Based on arm length, one is about 4-6" across (from leg to leg). Where did you get your rock? I think the rocks that held these guys were from the Caribbean, but I'm not sure. They definitely did not come on my Marshall Island or Fiji rock.

I saw one of those little guys fall off a piece of live rock as I was putting it in today. Too bad I can't find him anymore. haha

I have some of those. They're neat, but don't multiply as fast as the Brittle Stars do.
