which ballast for t5?

Hi, I want to run 8x80watt t5 bulbs with individual reflectors.
I was thinking about workhorse 7. Is that a good ballast for 2x80watt t5?

Spring for an Icecap Ballast. Much better output and bulb life than cheaper ballasts.

"Good" no but it will work. The Ice Caps are less expensive than the actual 80 watt T5 ballasts. If the IC's aren't in the budget then the WH's are your only real alternative.

The 2x80 watt Triad ballasts cost as much or more than an Ice Cap 660 which can run 3 lamps.

Then I´ll go 2x IC 660 AND 1x 430

But I have a doubt. Thre is also a 220V version, I am quite dumb for this electricity matters, so what is the difference between the normal version and the 220V version?

Ask the IC boys in the Ice Cap forum but I doubt the operating parameters are any differnt for the 220v versions.
