Do crabs eat peppermint shrimp?
I have 2 sallys and 4 emeralds in a 55 gallon tank, along with a crapload of aiptasia. I need to get some pepp shrimp. Will they get eaten?

If they get caught will molting.... YES... just like most carniverous animals.. they are opportunistic... I had sally lightfoots.. big mistake... the minute they got bigger.. wrecked havoc.... fast little buggers too... same with emeralds... wait till the get big and if hungry WILL take out an invert or fish if the chance is there.

i started having aptasia problems and brought a peppermint he done a wonderfull job eliminating all aptasia within a day. dont dont be fooled i gave mine up because he loved the aptasia so much he then turned to my xenia and nearly ate them both befor i put them in a friends tank while i caught him. i strongly advise not getting the peppermint to rid aptasia. either buy stuff from shop or simply use a very small amount of lemon juice injected into the stem or mouth of the pest.

Never had a problem with peppermint or ever really heard of them attacking corals.
THey decimated my aptasia and quick

as mentioned in previous post, they can go to your NEM's and pull food out of your NEM's mouth....
