What kind of lighting are you using? What are your water parameters?

h20 parameters good. have reef lighting. He was fine until today. but when i did h20 change and put h20 in I think a force of h2o went on him. Thats the only thing i can think of. It was probably too much for his little body. whats worse is i just traded my bta because he was always trying to go over to the coral.

Hmm... That's odd... I'm pretty sure that LT plates have really high lighting requirements, right? Every one that I have ever seen didn't seem to be thriving too well, even in systems that were established and doing well.

Something may have tore the flesh. I have a pink tipped long tenticle and its doing great. Since i started dosing kalk its HUGE there supposed to be a very hardy coral to. Mine got shipped to the wrong city 2 times on the way here so it was in transit for 2 times longer then it should be and he was still fine. Only thing i could see is you shocked it with the water or ur lighting is to low. He should be right on the sand also so he does not tear any tissue. Is there any LR around. Mines in a 55g with 2 175W MH and is thriving so if u have reef lighting im sure its not that. Just sounds like he got torn or shocked.
