How do you clean your RO/DI container?

I just got a trash can and am starting to keep my RO/DI water in it. What method if any do you guys use to clean it out before you start filling it up? I used RO water with vinegar and I am reading 4 TDS so far. It is 0 TDS from my unit. Your input is greatly appreciated.

Yes clean it as you have done and maybe with a weak bleach solution. When plastics are molded there are release oils so they do not stick to the molds and you need to get this off the plastic.
