pH Probe compatibility

Once read a thread that said purchase a pinpoint probe for the ACjr, because they are a better probe. Not sure of that I have never used one, nor do I know much about them. Are other manufactures of pH probes compatible with my unit? I'm looking for any information with experience with pH probes.

Thanks

Aaron. (Charlie is my Dog)

As long as the probe cord has the proper connection, any pH probe is compatible with any pH meter. Most have BNC connections, and that is easily confirmed for both the probe and meter by looking at the manuals. The Pinpoint probes are BNC.
