ASM protein skimmer
After running a reef octopus 8 needle wheel skimmer for 8 months I'm just not happy with the perfomance. Looking for something else to handle a 300 gallon system for around 400 bucks. Was thinking about going with an ASM. Any ideas or suggestions appeciated.

Upgrade your OTP pump to a BubbleBlaster 3000 pump. As it is, the skimmer is rated at 250g. Upgrading the pump will raise it to 300g.

It affectively turns it into a SRO 3000, and will bolt right up.
