New BTA

Just got this guy on Saturday, I put him in the spot that I wanted, and I know you cant force them to stay anywhere they're not happy. My concern is it's still in the same spot, it moved like half and inch and that's it. It looks pretty happy to me but just wanted a second opinion since ive never had one before.

It will move if it wants to. Looks a little bleached.

I agree on it being bleached but in a good system it will come back nice and strong. If it has its foot in a crevice then it found a good spot. I would just leave it be.

you should be hoping it gains back its red color. being bleached means it was stressed and expelled its zooxanthelle which it uses to convert light to food. so with more color it will be able to feed itself more efficiently and become healthier so why not wish for it to be healthy
