Will my tank stank hold?

Ok, I never really put much thought into this until tonight. I have a 40g regular tank (not bow or such) and I was planning on buying this 55gal stand for it. The stand has a top so the tank can sit on it like a coffee table setup. My questions is that will this be able to hold a 40gal since the stand is 48" long but my tank is only 30" long. Both width is the same (16").

I was afraid that since my tank is not long enough, the weight of the tank will be more on the center and not distributed toward the sides of the stand. What do u think?

P.S. I like the look and price of the stand that's why i'm was planning on gettting the 55gal stand if anyone of u is wondering.

They are just trying to be funny. But yea that stand will hold the smaller tank. Just think, the bigger stand can hold a bigger sump and fuge.
