looking at actinic bulbs

What are the spots and squiggles you see? It it bacteria on the eye? Silly question I know- but inquiring minds and all......... I always thought it was bacteria or small organisms flourescing- but can find no data to support this theory.

in your eye when looking at the bare bulb. I notice it most on the t12 bulbs. Its pretty crazy- and likely not good for the eyes!

It's more noticeable when you squint too. I know what your talking about and it's something in your ocular but I am not an optometrist but I do play one on TV so I couldn't tell you what it is.

Sent from my who cares they all do it now.
